Responsibilities
As a Senior DevOps Engineer AWS Cloud (all genders), you play a key role in shaping our hybrid SaaS cloud platform, bridging platform operations and product development. Your main responsibilities include:
- Planning, designing, developing and implementing projects on our hybrid SaaS cloud platform
- Continuously optimizing our environments in terms of performance, security, feature sets and cost efficiency
- Working closely with our product development teams on DevOps topics, especially CI/CD and automation
- Supporting the 2nd Level Operations Team with incidents and change requests, and resolving moderately to highly complex issues at 3rd level
- Stepping into live systems and quickly implementing effective measures
- Creating functional and IT concepts, technical specifications and architectures
- Sharing responsibility within the team for the technical and functional documentation of systems and workflows
MUST HAVE
- Degree in computer science, business informatics or a comparable qualification
- Extensive professional experience (5+ years) with excellent expertise in AWS cloud services
- Certification as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect
- Knowledge of the AWS services Lambda, SQS, EC2, ELB, ECS, ECR, S3, TGW and RDS
- Experience with containerization, CI/CD and automation
- Infrastructure as Code with Terraform
- Scripting with Bash and PowerShell
- Strong analytical thinking, a high degree of initiative and a results-driven mindset
- Results-oriented collaboration with other teams
- Excellent written and spoken English (at least C1)
- Experience with orchestration technologies such as Nomad and Consul
- Experience with AWS security services
- Project experience, ideally including project leadership
- Good German skills (at least B2)
