Ihre Aufgaben

Aufbau, Betrieb und kontinuierliche Weiterentwicklung der Google Cloud Platform (GCP) in einer hybriden IT-Landschaft
Entwicklung und Implementierung cloudnativer Lösungen mit Kubernetes, Cloud Run sowie weiteren Managed- und Serverless-Services
Erstellung und Pflege von Infrastructure-as-Code-Lösungen mit Terraform sowie Automatisierung von Deployments
Entwicklung und Optimierung von CI/CD-Pipelines sowie Einführung moderner DevOps-Praktiken
Integration von GCP mit On-Premises-Systemen, Microsoft Azure, Entra ID und weiteren Unternehmensplattformen
Sicherstellung von Cloud-Sicherheit durch IAM-Konzepte, Verschlüsselung, Audit-Logging und Compliance-Maßnahmen
Planung und Begleitung von Cloud-Migrationen sowie Unterstützung bei der Modernisierung bestehender Anwendungen
Überwachung von Performance, Verfügbarkeit und Cloud-Kosten sowie Umsetzung von FinOps-Optimierungen

Ihr Profil

Abgeschlossenes Studium der Informatik, Wirtschaftsinformatik oder vergleichbare IT-Ausbildung mit entsprechender Berufserfahrung
Mindestens 3 Jahre Berufserfahrung im Bereich Cloud Engineering oder Cloud Platform Management
Fundierte Kenntnisse der Google Cloud Platform (GCP), insbesondere IAM, Networking, Compute, Storage sowie Monitoring
Erfahrung mit Kubernetes, Docker und modernen Cloud-native-Technologien
Sehr gute Kenntnisse in Terraform und Infrastructure as Code
Erfahrung mit DevOps-Methoden, Git, CI/CD-Pipelines und automatisierten Deployment-Prozessen
Kenntnisse in mindestens einer Skript- oder Programmiersprache wie Python, Bash, PowerShell oder Go
Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse sowie eine strukturierte, eigenverantwortliche und lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise

Cloud Platform Engineer GCP (m/f/x)

Your Responsibilities

Build, operate and continuously enhance the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) within a hybrid IT environment
Design and implement cloud-native solutions using Kubernetes, Cloud Run, and other managed and serverless services
Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code solutions with Terraform and automate deployment processes
Create and optimize CI/CD pipelines while driving modern DevOps practices
Integrate GCP with on-premises systems, Microsoft Azure, Entra ID and other enterprise platforms
Ensure cloud security through IAM concepts, encryption, audit logging and compliance measures
Plan and support cloud migration projects and application modernization initiatives
Monitor performance, availability and cloud costs while implementing FinOps optimization measures

Your Profile

Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or a comparable IT qualification with relevant professional experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Cloud Engineering or Cloud Platform Management
Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including IAM, Networking, Compute, Storage and Monitoring
Experience with Kubernetes, Docker and modern cloud-native technologies
Excellent knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
Experience with DevOps practices, Git, CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes
Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language such as Python, Bash, PowerShell or Go
Excellent English communication skills and a structured, self-driven and solution-oriented working style
