Department Description

As Senior Utility Operator, you will be joining an organization where people of all backgrounds and experiences are respected, and where we work together focused on changing lives. In this role you will report to the Utility Supervisor MFG19.

Teil IV Berufliche Verantwortung / Part IV Job Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor complex utility and infrastructure systems (Clean/Black Utilities, HVAC).
• Troubleshoot issues and perform cleaning and maintenance activities.
• Support utility equipment readiness (Clean, Black and HVAC) within given budget, time and quality aspects.
• Create work orders in Maximo, support equipment relevant maintenance and repair activities. Initiate, supervise and coordinate internal and external maintenance service of equipment.
• Support EHS compliance for equipment / facilities.
• Support commissioning, handover, and startup phases of new equipment and systems.
• Support equipment qualification deliverables during execution of project phase.
• Support and execute the generation of GMP documents including SOP.
• Support the on time sampling of the clean utilities in cooperation with QC.
• Be part of the duty on call system within the engineering department.
• Support monitoring the energy consumption of the building and production.
• Identify improvement potentials and implementation of related measures.
• Support the Organization for the future Energy Management System in the building.
• Document processes and ensure compliance with cGMP requirements.
• Deputy of Utility Operator Supervisor.

• Identify safety improvement opportunities and design, and implement steps to realize these opportunities.

Compliance:

• Ensure equipment is operating in a compliant manner and that all activities are conducted to meet cGMP regulations .

Teil III Mindestanforderungen an die Stelle / Part III Minimum Requirements

Bildungshintergrund und Erfahrung / Education Background and Experience

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience 5+ in the operation of utilities and site supply. At least technician or “Meister” training (Bachelor).

Person Specification:

• Technical expertise in HVAC, water treatment, or high-purity gas systems, as well as knowledge of cGMP standards.
• Excellent analytical abilities with the capability to explain and present complex topics in a clear and understandable manner.
• Social competence, customer orientation and a good team player.
• Ability to work on own initiative and be proactive.

Requirements:

• Ability to adapt to daily challenges of an engineering work environment while maintaining positive and productive attitude and fostering this attitude among colleagues.
• Experienced user of Maximo, DEZEM and MS Office.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in both German and English.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with departments and staffs at all levels of the organization.
• Working within national and international teams.
