As an Electrical Project Manager, your day is shaped by coordinating international projects, aligning with customers, employees, and partners, and solving technical challenges. Throughout, you keep a constant focus on schedules, costs, quality, and safety while your projects are being implemented worldwide.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Take responsibility for the technical and commercial execution of complex electrical and control systems projects for steam turbine plants, including partial budget responsibility
- Specify systems, prepare tenders and procurement requirements, and ensure the timely placement of all necessary orders
- Plan and coordinate project execution while managing internal, external, and international project partners, including interface management
- Conduct technical clarification with customers and subcontractors, perform feasibility studies, interpret contractual requirements, and manage change orders
- Oversee schedule, cost, and budget controlling, prepare status reports, and analyze and document cost variances
- Support projects during installation and commissioning, manage outstanding issues, and prepare reports for management
- Successfully completed university or university of applied sciences degree in Energy Engineering, Automation Engineering, Power Plant Engineering, or a comparable qualification
- Extensive professional experience in project management, engineering, or commissioning within the power generation industry
- Strong knowledge of project management and experience in the technical and commercial management of complex projects
- Excellent communication and coordination skills when working with customers, suppliers, and international project partners
- Business-fluent English skills, both written and spoken
- Proficient in MS Office and SAP, with a structured, solution-oriented, and responsible approach to work
