About Orac
At Orac, we believe every wall is a blank canvas. Where others see a flat surface, we see a world of possibilities. Welcome to the world of Orac. The world of architectural elements, made for walls.
We are a family-owned Belgian company that has been a leader in architectural elements for walls for over 50 years. From our headquarters in Ostend, our innovative products are available across Europe, from Paris to Köln, London, Barcelona, Slovakia, Lecco, and beyond.
Our commitment to sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. We strive to make a positive impact not only today but also for future generations. Sustainability is a core value that guides our choices - for our planet, people, and community.
We believe in a world in which digital technologies and data enhance customer experience. A solid digital backbone combined with strong local teams is a powerful mix for our growth.
As Total Reward Specialist Europe, you shape our total rewards strategy for Belgium and our commercial teams in key European markets including France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Spain and the UK. We’re looking for an experienced Total Rewards professional with passion, precision, and the drive to take ownership. The role combines hands-on operational work with the opportunity to contribute at a strategic level. You will report directly to the HR Director and work closely with the Payroll Expert and our HR Business Partners in a very hands-on HR Team.
With solid experience in Total Rewards and Compensation & Benefits, you’re ready to take real ownership of European compensation topics and make an impact across different markets. If you’re genuinely curious about how Total Reward works differently market by market, you’ll find this role endlessly interesting.
Your key responsibilities
- Own and manage European Total Rewards processes, including salary, benefits, and incentive programs, ensuring smooth, efficient, and consistent delivery across countries and employee groups.
- Execute the full annual reward cycle independently, covering budgeting, benchmarking, merit processes, and bonus/incentive calculations.
- Maintain accurate reward data and reporting on salaries, bonuses, benefits, and other metrics to support HR, Finance, and business leaders.
- Translate Total Rewards strategy into practical processes, ensuring consistent application and identifying opportunities to improve and optimize programs.
- Act as the go-to expert for reward matters across European teams, supporting HR, Finance, and employees on salary, bonus, benefits, and incentive questions.
What Success Looks Like
- After 30 days: You understand Orac’s Reward Cycle and the overall compensation methodology, including how we approach and structure reward at Orac
- After 60 days: You understand how our reward practices are applied across the different countries and markets, including the key country-specific differences. You have build relationships with key stakeholders.
- After 90 days: You understand the mechanics of our sales bonus cycle and have participated in a quarterly bonus cycle, contributing to the calculations, reporting and related stakeholder discussions.
- Long term: You become the go-to expert for European compensation, driving best practices and helping shape data-driven reward decisions.
This is how we describe you
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Total Rewards, Compensation & Benefits or another hard-HR discipline, with exposure to salary structures, benchmarking, reward processes or incentive schemes.
- Ability to translate complex reward concepts into a clear and practical message
- Genuine curiosity about how compensation and reward work across different European markets. An international working background or experience abroad is a plus.
- Confidence to work with stakeholders and, where relevant, discuss and explain salary and reward decisions.
Our offer to you…
- An international environment: Collaborate with talented, ambitious international colleagues from all over Europe
- The role can be based in any of our offices in Belgium (Ostend), France (Paris), Germany (Cologne), Spain (Barcelona), Poland (Łódź) or the UK (Horsham).

This time will allow you to work closely with key stakeholders, build strong relationships across the organisation and gain a deep understanding of Orac’s remuneration cycle and business. It provides a valuable foundation and network to set you up for success in the role, wherever you are based.
