Tasks:
- Assembly of mechanical and electrical sub-assemblies and devices, in accordance with assembly instructions, drawings and bills of materials
- Commissioning and testing at device and system level, as well as carrying out interface tests in accordance with test specifications
- Recording your own work to document results
- Timely completion and reporting of production orders
- Completed vocational training in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics or a comparable field
- Professional experience in the assembly of electronic assemblies
- Basic knowledge of English (spoken and written)
- A good knowledge of German
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and SAP
- A goal-oriented approach to work, as well as an open-minded attitude and the ability to work well in a team
- A high degree of care, precision and quality awareness
- Confident use of tools and test equipment (electrical, mechanical, optical)
- Set-up Technician (m/f/d) – Focus on printed circuit board assembly
- Machine operation & set-up: Independently setting up, operating and retooling SMT assembly systems and stencil printers.
- Soldering process monitoring: Controlling and monitoring the vapour phase soldering system to ensure optimal solder joints.
- Quality assurance: Carrying out visual quality checks on the manufactured assemblies in accordance with the strict requirements of IPC Class 3.
- Process optimisation: Identifying deviations in the assembly and soldering processes and implementing corrective measures to minimise scrap.
- Maintenance & upkeep: Carrying out regular maintenance and cleaning work on the assigned production equipment.
- Manual Solderer (m/f/d) – Focus on Cable & Plant Engineering
The focus of the role is on printed circuit board
- Small-batch production: Manual assembly (hand assembly), soldering and modification of printed circuit boards using both THT and SMD technology.
- Rework & Repair: Carrying out skilled rework and repair work on sensitive electronic assemblies whilst strictly adhering to demanding quality specifications.
- IPC Class 3 Standard: Manufacturing and comprehensive visual inspection of all assemblies and cable connections strictly in accordance with the criteria of IPC-A-610 Class 3.
Your profile (set-up technician & manual solderer):
- Successfully completed apprenticeship in the electronics sector (e.g. electronics technician for devices and systems, communications electronics technician) or a comparable qualification with sound experience in SMT manufacturing.
- Specific system knowledge (essential/preferred):
- Practical experience in assembly using Fritsch systems (e.g. manual/semi-automatic assembly systems).
- Solid knowledge of operating stencil printers (set-up, paste application, squeegee printing).
- Experience in operating and profiling the ASCON VP510 vapour-phase soldering system (Vapor Phase).
- Quality awareness: Demonstrable experience of working to IPC-A-610 Class 3 (High Performance/Harsh Environment Electronic Products). A valid IPC certification is an advantage, but not a deal-breaker.
