Scientist / Postdoc (m/f/d)
You will be responsible for:
- Planning and performing proteome analyses as part of the joint project: MikrobiomProCheck – Establishment of clinical microbiome analyses
- Continuous further development of existing methods and procedures for sample processing and quantitative proteome analysis for use in the joint project
- Documentation of laboratory work
- Cooperation with other project partners and regular presentation of results
- Degree in a natural science field (e.g., biology, chemistry, physics) or comparable qualification
- Experience in a laboratory environment, ideally in the field of bioanalytics
- Knowledge of mass spectrometry-based proteome research, planning and conducting experiments, in particular the interpretation of measurement data.
- Strong communication skills, organizational talent, and a solution-oriented approach to work
- Confident use of MS Office
- Willingness to travel on business
- Very good written and spoken English; German is an advantage

The full-time post is available immediately and is a fixed-term role, running until 31 December 2028, due to the nature of the project. The salary will be according to the German TV-L and falls within the pay group 13. The time limitation of the contract is based on the Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz (WissZeitVG).
