We are currently seeking a Junior Full-Stack Developer (m/f/d) to join our international team in Bochum. In this role, you will contribute to the development of innovative AI-driven software solutions in the field of biometrics while working in a collaborative, agile, and supportive engineering environment. You will have the opportunity to learn from experienced colleagues and grow your technical skills across the full software development lifecycle.
Key Missions
- Develop and maintain web-based user interfaces as part of an international agile development team
- Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of modern software applications across the full stack
- Collaborate with developers, designers, and product teams to implement user-friendly features and improve application usability
- Support the development of AI-powered video analysis solutions in the biometrics domain
- Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Learn and apply best practices in software development, DevOps, and agile methodologies
Profile description:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
- First professional experience (internship, working student position, apprenticeship, or up to 2 years of experience) in software development
- Good knowledge of Java, Python, and/or React through academic projects or professional experience
- Basic understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker; familiarity with Kubernetes is a plus
- Interest in AI, computer vision, or biometrics; previous experience in biometrics is not required
- Familiarity with development tools such as Git; knowledge of Jira and Jenkins is a plus
- Interest in creating intuitive and user-friendly applications
- Strong willingness to learn, proactive mindset, and good communication and teamwork skills
- Good written and spoken German and English
