This is a rare opportunity to be the first marketing hire at a fast-moving, early-stage AI SaaS startup — and own the growth function entirely. You'll work directly alongside the founding team to build the growth engine from the ground up: from strategy and positioning to hands-on execution across SEO, paid, content, and PR. This role sits at the heart of how the company tells its story and drives early commercial traction.
What You'll Do
- Own and execute the inbound growth engine end-to-end — set strategy across all channels including SEO, paid, content, and product marketing
- Build repeatable, scalable marketing playbooks with an AI-automation-first approach
- Track, measure, and report on all campaigns; set KPIs, run experiments, iterate fast, and communicate results across the organisation
- Translate complex technical product capabilities into clear, compelling market-facing messaging
- Work closely with product and founders to shape brand presence across the website, campaigns, and press
- Own paid acquisition across channels — paid social, display, and programmatic
- Research, plan, and execute SEO tactics with a focus on traditional and AI-driven discoverability
- Build and manage press relationships, pitch stories, handle media enquiries, and turn product milestones into meaningful coverage
- Constantly experiment with and identify new growth channels
- Required: You were one of the first marketing hires at an early-stage company, or built the marketing function from scratch
- 1–3 years of experience in growth or product marketing (some early-stage company exposure is a dealbreaker requirement)
- Demonstrated ability to own inbound growth across multiple channels (SEO, paid, content, product marketing) and drive measurable results
- Strong collaboration skills — comfortable working directly with founders and product teams to craft market-facing messaging and positioning
- Proficiency with a modern growth tech stack: analytics, CRM, automation, SEO tools, content platforms, and PR tools
- Comfortable designing, running, and reporting on experiments; genuinely data-driven with a clear KPIs mindset
- Experience building and managing press relationships and turning product milestones into press coverage
- Genuine appetite for AI-powered marketing and building scalable playbooks
- Salary: $65,000 – $95,000 USD annually
