- general vocational training or on the job training shall be comparable to the training content of a technical profession
- a minimum of two years of experience in the servicing of large, civil aircraft and their engines in line and/or base maintenance
- basic knowledge regarding the manufacturing of the product and examination technology
- relevant knowledge in the airframe structure and experience with manufacturer's and aircraft documentation such as AMM and IPC, NTM, SOPM
- very good knowledge of aviation regulations (LBA, EASA, FAA)
- prepare, set up, standardize equipment and perform examinations in accordance with approved instructions
- following examination procedures, conducting inspections, evaluate results and ensure proper documentation
- understand the scope, limitations, applicable codes, standards and basic manufacturing and inspection technologies
- ensure that written handover is performed on daily basis
- ensure compliance with safety and security regulations, support team members if needed, report critical issues and maintain proper handling of tools, parts and maintenance records
