As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will partner with commercial and support functions across Abbott Diabetes Care Germany, providing financial insights, planning support, and analysis that enable informed business decisions. Working closely with local and international stakeholders, you will play a key role in driving financial performance and continuous improvement.
Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager Germany, this position offers broad business exposure and excellent development opportunities.
Please note : Professional fluency in both German and English is required.
What You'll Do
- Partner with commercial and support functions as a trusted finance advisor, providing insights that support business decisions.
- Lead planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities for discretionary SG&A spending across Abbott Diabetes Care Germany.
- Collaborate with business leaders to identify financial risks, opportunities, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Prepare and deliver monthly financial reports, variance analyses, and management presentations.
- Analyze spending trends, key cost drivers, and major investments to enhance financial transparency and decision-making.
- Support weekly, monthly, and year-end financial reporting and close activities.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial policies, controls, and governance requirements.
- Partner with local and international stakeholders on financial processes, reporting, and cross-functional projects.
- Drive process improvements through standardization, automation, and effective use of financial data and systems.
- Provide guidance and training to stakeholders on financial processes, tools, and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Around 4+ years of experience in Finance, Controlling, FP&A, or Business Partnering.
- Professional fluency in German and English.
- Experience in an international environment is advantageous.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis.
- Advanced Excel skills; ERP or reporting system experience is a plus.
