Service engineer or technician (m/f/d) for HPLC in full time (37,5 hours/week)

Your mission at Shimadzu:

You will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to Shimadzu’s service engineers regarding LC products, via phone, email, or remote support
Your responsibilities also include training our field service engineers usually at the training center in Duisburg and creation of digital training content for our internal e-learning platform
Your remit will also include installation, maintenance, repair and instruction of equipment at our company and in the European countries where we operate
You will act as a contact with Shimadzu Corporation, headquartered in Japan, ensuring smooth communication and reporting for the products you support

This is you:

You hold a master's or bachelor's degree in electronics, chemistry, physics, or a related field, or possess equivalent qualifications
You have already gained professional experience in technical service or chemical analysis in the field of Liquid Chromatography
You have a very good command of written and spoken English and a good knowledge of German or the willingness to learn the German language
You are proficient in the use of Windows OS and MS Office applications
You are capable of working independently and have the ability to work effectively as part of a team. You possess strong communication skills, professional demeanor and self-confidence
You are highly flexible and willing to travel
You have a class B driver's license
