Job Role
The Head of Overseas Sales – Europe will be responsible for driving the company's market entry and long-term commercial expansion across key European markets, including Spain, France, Germany, and Italy. This role focuses on building a strong B2B distribution network, securing strategic agents and partners, and establishing a scalable sales organization from the ground up.
The successful candidate will act as the key commercial leader for the European region, working closely with headquarters to define market strategy, execute channel development initiatives, and build a high-performing regional sales structure. This position is ideal for experienced industry professionals with deep expertise in building materials, piping systems, polymer products, or industrial construction supply chains.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute European market entry and expansion strategies across key countries, ensuring achievement of regional sales and revenue targets.
- Identify, recruit, and manage distributors, agents, wholesalers, and strategic B2B partners within the building materials and construction supply industry.
- Build and structure regional sales networks, including pricing strategies, channel segmentation, and distributor performance frameworks.
- Lead commercial negotiations with large-scale partners, construction groups, and procurement stakeholders across Europe.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, regulatory updates, and building standard changes to support strategic decision-making.
- Establish and develop the European sales organization, including recruitment and onboarding of local commercial teams.
- Collaborate closely with headquarters to align production capabilities, supply chain readiness, and commercial strategies.
- Represent the company at industry exhibitions, trade fairs, and high-level commercial meetings across Europe.
- Develop long-term strategic partnerships with key industry stakeholders to expand market penetration and brand positioning.
- Provide regular performance reports, market intelligence updates, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
- Bachelor's Degree or above in Business Administration, Engineering, International Trade, Marketing, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in sales management, business development, or market expansion within piping systems, polymer manufacturing, building materials, or related industrial sectors.
- Strong background in B2B channel development, distributor management, and international market expansion.
- Proven experience working with construction supply chains, industrial distributors, or infrastructure material providers.
- Strong understanding of European building materials markets, including pricing models, distribution networks, and procurement practices.
- Existing network of distributors, agents, or procurement professionals within the European construction and building materials industry is highly preferred.
- Experience handling international trade processes, including contracts, logistics coordination, and cross-border commercial operations.
- Strong negotiation, relationship management, and commercial strategy development skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with proven ability to build new markets from scratch into scalable revenue-generating operations.
- Strong cross-cultural communication skills and ability to work effectively with Asian headquarters teams.
- Professional fluency in English is mandatory.
- Fluency in French is highly preferred, while Spanish or Mandarin is considered an advantage.
