What to expect
As Gates Corporation continues to advance its product‑led transformation, the Program Manager, PLM & Pricing plays a critical leadership-facing role in strengthening execution discipline across Product Management and Pricing within the EMEA region.
This position is responsible for defining, operating, and continuously evolving the product management and pricing operating model, ensuring clarity, alignment, and predictable execution across Product Management, Pricing, R&D, Marketing, Commercial, and Operations functions. The role regularly interfaces with senior leadership, providing visibility on performance, driving alignment on priorities, and supporting strategic decision‑making.
Working in close partnership with the Data Analytics Engineer, the role ensures that agreed processes, tools, and data foundations are embedded in daily decision‑making and execution.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Owns and drives the Product Management and Pricing operating model, including prioritization, backlog management, execution cadence, and governance across EMEA.
- Establishes aligned execution across Product Management, Pricing, R&D, Operations, and Commercial teams, ensuring clear ownership, decision rights, and follow‑through.
- Defines and implements transparent frameworks to manage priorities, dependencies, risks, and trade‑offs across cross‑functional initiatives.
- Facilitates agile ways of working (Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid models) adapted to a non‑software, industrial environment.
- Creates visibility of work, progress, performance, and bottlenecks through structured forums, dashboards, and execution rituals.
- Partners closely with the Digital Product & Pricing Engineer and Digital & Data teams to ensure tools, data, and dashboards are adopted and used consistently.
- Actively identifies and removes execution barriers, driving improved speed, reliability, and alignment of product and pricing initiatives.

- Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in own specialized area and general knowledge of related areas
- May lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity
- Leads others to solve complex problems; uses analytical thinking, tools and judgement to identify innovative solutions
- University degree in Engineering, Business, Information Systems, or related field with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in product management, PMO, operations, or transformation roles.
- Proven experience operating in complex, matrix organizations, bringing structure and execution discipline to ambiguous environments.
- Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align diverse senior stakeholders, challenge constructively, and drive outcomes without formal authority.
- Strong background in agile ways of working (Scrum, Kanban) beyond pure software development teams.
- Solid understanding of digital product environments, with exposure to development concepts; hands-on coding experience or the ability to engage credibly with engineering teams is a strong advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to drive alignment, accountability, and decisions without formal authority.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to structure complex data and translate it into clear, actionable insights.
- Hands-on experience with collaboration and execution tools such as Jira, Miro, Power BI, Tableau, or advanced Excel.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills, with confidence engaging senior and executive leadership.
- Fluent in English; any other European language is a plus.
- Willingness to travel up to 30%
