The Role
- Develop Computer Vision and AI models, making them production-ready and integrating them into existing backend systems.
- Ensure model quality through continuous analysis of training data, error images, and relevant metrics.
- Take responsibility for the stable operation of services in Azure and drive the further development of MLOps, deployment, and monitoring processes.
- Work closely with internal departments and customers as a technical contact, supporting evaluations and KPI creation with tools like Power BI.
- Actively contribute to identifying new AI application cases and developing existing solutions.
- A degree in Data Science, AI, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a comparable qualification.
- Practical experience in developing AI or Machine Learning solutions, ideally in Computer Vision or OCR.
- Excellent Python skills and experience with cloud environments (ideally Azure), CI/CD, and Git.
- Confidence in handling APIs, backend integration, and operating productive systems; MLOps, Databricks, New Relic, Power BI, or mobile app backend knowledge is a plus.
- Structured work approach, responsibility for tasks, and ability to communicate technical matters clearly.
- Fluent German (C1) and good English language skills.
