This boutique private equity firm is seeking a Private Equity Intern to join their Frankfurt office. The firm is an established international private equity house with over 45 years of experience, operating across multiple European offices and New York. The firm focuses on large buyouts predominantly in Europe, leveraging deep sector expertise across six key industries: Business Services, Consumer, Financial Services, Healthcare, Industrials, and Technology, Media and Telecommunications.
The internship offers exposure to the firm's proven value creation strategies and responsible investment approach, working alongside experienced professionals in the DACH regional team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the investment team with analysis of potential acquisitions
- Conduct strategic market and competitor analysis and research
- Build in-depth understanding of individual business models and their cost structures
- Support the team across a broad range of investment opportunities
- Engage in various analytical tasks supporting the deal process
- Graduated or graduating from a leading university
- Minimum three months experience at a global investment bank, high-end investment boutique, top-tier strategic consultancy, or reputable private equity firm
- Excellent analytical and numerical capabilities
- Strong commercial understanding with ability to quickly familiarize with complex industries and business models
- Ability to work autonomously and take initiative
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact well in team environments
- Demonstrated drive and commitment to exceed expectations
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to perform tasks accurately under pressure
- Genuine interest in private equity industry
This is a full-time internship based in Frankfurt with flexible working arrangements, including the option to work from home once per week.
