About The Role

As a Front-End Flutter Developer within our Order Fulfillment / Kitchen Tech Squad, you will be instrumental in crafting exceptional user experiences for our cutting-edge food-tech platform. Leveraging your expertise in Flutter development, you will collaborate closely with back-end engineers and the product team to deliver seamless and intuitive interfaces and have a significant impact on our technical roadmap.

Your Daily Business

• Ownership of frontend development tasks specific to our Order Fulfillment and Kitchen Tech products, ensuring code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Collaborate closely with the backend team to develop robust and cohesive applications tailored to the needs of order fulfillment and kitchen operations.
• Implement and integrate APIs to enhance the functionality and efficiency of order fulfillment and kitchen management processes.
• Work alongside QA Engineers to refine and optimize the user experience for order fulfillment and kitchen staff.
• Design, develop, and refine user interfaces together with our UI/UX Designers, focusing on usability and efficiency.
• Mentor and guide junior developers within the team, fostering skill development and growth
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality, performance, and consistency
• Improve how we build frontends and work with Flutter by collaborating across multiple teams in our Flutter Chapter
  
  

Base Qualifications

• Degree in IT or equivalent in-company dual training.
• 4+ years of experience in web frontend and/or mobile app development.
• Proficiency in English; German language skills are advantageous.
• Hands-on mentality, confident in taking initiative in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with Flutter, ideally both on Mobile and Web.
• Practical experience with state management libraries like Riverpod, BLoC or Provider.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality frontend solutions in a collaborative team environment.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in development of in-house or back office applications.
• Willingness to learn or even previous experience in writing server side code in Go or Java.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks, as well as CI/CD.
• Knowledge of native app development for Android and/or iOS.
• Experience with agile development methodologies such as Scrum & Kanban.
• Knowledge of Web Development in e.g. React.
