When developing new diesel engines, the aim is to respond to increasingly stringent requirements in terms of exhaust emissions, exhaust aftertreatment, fuel consumption, diagnostics and driving behavior. In order to meet these requirements, IAV is working on behalf of the automotive industry on the innovative further development of diesel engines for future vehicle concepts. We are looking for you to support us in carrying out and optimizing test work on state-of-the-art engine test benches and test vehicles.

Your Tasks
- You support the evaluation of measurement data in our ongoing projects.
- You make the necessary adjustments and are responsible for creating new individual evaluation algorithms and routines.
- You will be able to present and interpret the results independently.
- Ongoing studies in the fields of computer science, business informatics, electrical engineering, automotive engineering or mechanical engineering, ideally with a specialization in combustion engines or a comparable course of study
- Strong interest in challenging development tasks
- Sound knowledge of one of the following programming languages: C++ / C# / Java / Matlab / Python or in other common programming languages
- Goal-oriented, independent and self-reliant way of working
- Ability to work in a team
- Good knowledge of German and English (at least B2 level)
- Class B driver's license
- Confident in using Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
