Overview:

This internship is designed for students or early-career professionals interested in supporting cross-functional projects within a robotics startup environment. Interns will assist project managers with planning, coordination, and continuous process improvement across engineering, product, and operations teams.

Your Responsibilities:

Project Tracking & Communication

  • Maintain project plans, timelines, and progress dashboards.
  • Track KPIs, milestones, and dependencies across teams.
  • Document meeting notes, action items, and risk logs.
  • Facilitate cross-departmental communication and regular updates.

Process Documentation & Optimization

  • Develop SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and checklists for key workflows.
  • Recommend or implement tools to improve project tracking (e.g., dashboards, task boards).
  • Document and refine product development lifecycle processes.

Workflow Mapping & Risk Management

  • Observe workflows across engineering and operations to understand existing practices.
  • Build visual flowcharts to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
  • Maintain risk registers and proactively flag potential blockers.

Process Improvement & Feedback Loops

  • Gather feedback from teams on workflow challenges and inefficiencies.
  • Propose and pilot small process improvements.
  • Support the rollout of successful process changes across teams.

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a degree in Engineering, Project Management, Robotics, Business, or related field
  • Interest in robotics, AI, and cross-functional projects
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
  • Basic understanding of project management (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset
  • Familiar with KPIs, risk management, and workflow optimization
  • Familiar with project tools (e.g., Linear, Asana), documentation platforms (e.g., Notion, Google Docs), and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Sheets, Lucidchart, Miro)
  • Full working proficiency in English and German (written and spoken)
