The Computational Biofluidics And Biomechanics Lab (CBBL), Under The Direction Of Dr. Yu Feng At Oklahoma University, Is Inviting Applications For a Postdoctoral Researcher Position. The Successful Candidate Will Engage In Advanced Computational Modeling In The Following Research Areas
– Lung aerosol dynamics
– Airborne toxic particle exposure
– Cilia-driven mucus transport
– Hemodynamics
Requirements
– Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field specializing in computational fluid or particle dynamics
– Minimum Of 2 Years Post-Ph.D. Research Experience
– Demonstrated expertise in Euler-Euler, Euler-Lagrange, and Discrete Element Method (DEM) approaches
– Strong record of peer-reviewed publications
– Excellent written and oral communication skills
The initial appointment is for 12 months, with the possibility of renewal contingent upon performance and funding availability.
