Intern (f/m/d) Predevelopment Engineer Future Space Technologies

Our international and agile team is searching for a motivated person to work as intern/working student (f/m/d) predevelopment engineering. You enjoy working in a dedicated, dynamic and international environment that aims for high-performance engineering solutions in aerospace technology? Then apply for us.

Your Tasks

• Definition of development roadmaps and timelines to mature space technologies and systems
• Deriving mission and technical requirements for next generation spacecraft
• Creation of systems architectures based on customer requirements
• Perform preliminary design studies and trade offs
• Create preliminary system and subsystem designs for various in-space services
• Manage and/or take part in projects with external stakeholders (e.g. ESA, governmental institutions)
• Coordinate with other departments to generate and provide input to projects’ deliverables (e.g. design files, test plans and reports, presentations)
• Communicate effectively between company and these external stakeholders
• Contribute to proposal writing
  
  

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's student in Aerospace or Space Engineering or related discipline
• Prior experience in the space industry or in a technical environment is a plus
• You bring technical affinity and you are an enthusiast about New Space
• Business fluent English oral and written (all day-to-day activities are performed in English)
• Perfect use of MS Office
• Strong time management, team player attitude and emotional intelligence
• Self-independent, proactive and structured way of working
• Willingness to support and work with other departments
• Cost and risk awareness and business acumen complete your profile
