Job Purpose/Overview

This position provides second-level support for the transmission of reference laboratory results to the customer’s practice management system (vetOS), ensuring accurate and reliable data exchange. It exists to resolve complex or escalated transmission issues and to support the stability and integrity of system-to-system communication.

- Support the ongoing operation and maintenance of lab-to-vetOS transmission processes by investigating irregularities, verifying data flow, and ensuring data transmission.
- Work closely with first-level support and technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve more complex problems.
- Monitor data transmissions to ensure accuracy and reliability, and take corrective actions when needed.
- Document solutions and maintain clear records to support efficient issue resolution and ongoing improvements.
- Coordinate with customers and/or the 3rd-level vetOS support team to troubleshoot and resolve transmission issues, ensuring clear communication and timely updates throughout the resolution process.

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in technical support or systems troubleshooting, preferably involving data transmission or integration between laboratory and management systems.
- Experience supporting laboratory or healthcare systems is preferred

- Strong understanding of data interfaces, transmission protocols, and basic networking concepts.
- Familiarity with data formats and standards such as SQL, HL7, or similar.
- Excellent communication skills with experience in customer support and collaboration with third-level technical teams.
