The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. In this, the tasks and requirements of operations are varied. The operations takes care of all operations related activities within the battery cell manufacturing. Our responsibilities vary from planning, constructing and rolling out the forthcoming battery cell factories. Furthermore, planning and implementing operating functions such as logistics, quality, production and plant management is also key elements within the area of corporate product.
Your Role And Key Responsibilities

Your Role And Key Responsibilities
- Leading and coordinating the Raw Material Steering team
- Assurance of n-tier supply chain, monitoring and reporting of material supply data availability for users
- Operative support through existing logistic supplier provider network within VW group (Sea, Air, Road, Rail, Warehouse etc.)
- Implementation Raw Material Supply Chain Control Tower
- Coordination of the cross functional Raw Material Flow Committee
- Strategic development of global inbound logistics for the global battery cell plants
- Completed university degree (or doctorate) e.g. in the field of natural sciences, computer science, physics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or comparable training
- Relevant and verifiable management experience (disciplinary and technical)
- In-depth professional experience in the automotive/battery or raw material industry
- Sound professional experience in the field of inbound logistics
- Strong ability to work in a team and a high degree of initiative
- Skills in communication and collaboration with business partners in English
- Analytical thinking and high team spirit
- German language skills
