The Role
The role of the laboratory assistant in upstream production mainly consists of cleaning (including autoclaving) and providing reusable laboratory materials for the upstream laboratory.

- Benutztes, zu säuberndes Laborgeschirr, Spinnerflaschen und Vorlegeflaschen autoklavieren, vorspülen, reinigen, trocknen, zusammenbauen danach sauber autoklavieren und verteilen.
- Sicherstellen, dass die benötigen Laborutensilien sauber und verfügbar sind.
- Autoklaviermüll entsorgen.
- Sterile Werkbänke, Inkubatoren, Wasserbäder und Wassertanks reinigen.
- Mithilfe bei der Herstellung von Pufferlösungen für Upstream Produktion.
- Durchführung der täglichen Reinigungskontrollen.
- Unterstützung der Mitglieder des Produktionsteams bei Bedarf.
- Cafeteria sauber halten (inkl. Spülmaschine, Kaffeemaschinen und Wasserkocher).
- Erfahrung in einer Laborumgebung (wünschenswert)
- Gute Rechen-, Lese- und Kommunikationsfähigkeiten
- Flexibilität und Teamfähigkeit
- Gutes Zeitmanagement und problemlösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise

The Role
The role of the laboratory assistant in upstream production mainly consists of cleaning (including autoclaving) and providing reusable laboratory materials for the upstream laboratory.
The role will be varied and challenging with key elements including:
- Autoclave used laboratory glassware, spinner bottles and transfer bottles that need to be cleaned, pre-rinse, clean, dry, assemble, then autoclave and distribute.
- Ensure that the necessary laboratory utensils are clean and available.
- Dispose of autoclave waste.
- Clean sterile workbenches, incubators, water baths and water tanks.
- Assist in the preparation of buffer solutions for upstream production.
- Carry out daily cleaning checks.
- Support members of the production team as needed.
- Keep the cafeteria clean (including dishwasher, coffee machines and kettles).
- Experience in a laboratory environment (desirable)
- Good numeracy, reading and communication skills
- Flexibility and ability to work in a team
- Good time management and problem-solving approach to work
- Very good knowledge of German
