Tasks

• Supporting development and quality assurance through analyses;
• Planning, coordination and implementation of complex physical analyses and preparations on electronic components;
• Process and yield analyses for development, quality assurance and production;
• Use of sophisticated analytics (e.g. ultrasound microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, EDX, metallography, infrared microscopy) to localise and map weak points in electronic components;
• Developing failure hypotheses and analysis strategies for fault localisation. Documenting analysis results;
• Evaluation of new samples of component development and production;
  
  

Requirements

• Degree in physics, electrical engineering, microsystems technology or comparable;
• Good knowledge and experience in the field of physical analysis of electronic components;
• Previous knowledge in the field of analytical methods (e.g. light microscopy, X-ray, IR microscopy, SAM, SEM, EDX, electrical measurement technology) is desirable;
• Good product and process knowledge in the field of electronic components, especially in the field of sensor technology (pressure, inertial sensors);
• Good knowledge in the fields of assembly and connection technology, technology and function of electronic components;
• Language skills in German and English;
