Senior Accountant/ Bilanzbuchhalter (m/f/d)
unlimited – full time – 40 hour-contract
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the company's accounting operations in close partnership with the finance team in accordance with German GAAP and IFRS
- Play a key role in month-end and year-end closing processes to guarantee timely and precise financial results
- Lead key parts of the annual budgeting process and strategic 5-year plans in close collaboration with the CFO
- Contribute to the preparation of financial reports for management and external stakeholders
What We Are Looking For
- Qualification as a Senior Accountant or similar role (e.g. Certified in international accounting standards - CINA) with a minimum of 5 years of experience
- In-depth understanding of German GAAP and IFRS
- Expertise in processing debits and credits as well as proficient Balance Sheet accounting
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Fluent German (B2) and Intermediate English (B1)
