Key Responsibilities

Join our team in Minden as a Software Development Engineer!

Shape the future of automation by developing cutting-edge embedded software for measurement transmitters and actuators. Work on innovative projects, ensure high software quality, and collaborate with a dynamic team to create solutions that make an impact.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Develop innovative solutions for process automation field devices
• Design and implement embedded software (firmware)
• Perform unit, integration, and system testing to ensure high software quality
• Collaborate with the team to continuously improve products and technologies
  
  
  

Qualifications For The Role

Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Embedded Systems, Computer engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field

At least 3 years of experience in embedded software development (full lifecycle: from requirements to testing), including strong knowledge of embedded C and real-time operating systems (e.g., FreeRTOS)

Experience with development tools such as Azure DevOps and Git

Knowledge about and affinity to characteristics of interfacing with physical processes

(e.g., compensation of measurement failures)

Strong communication skills, team-oriented, and able to work independently

Ideally, knowledge of IEC 61508, ISO 26262, ARM architectures, PROFINET, and cybersecurity standards (e.g., IEC 62443)

Willingness to travel (

Fluent in both German and English, written and spoken.
