The Purchasing unit is the interface to the supplier market and is thus responsible for a large part of the value creation. The responsibilities range from raw material purchasing to supplier management and plant purchasing to value engineering.
Your Role And Key Responsibilities

Your Role And Key Responsibilities
- Independent incorporating into complex raw material value chains at the interface between mining and refining as well as cell and battery production
- Technical and commercial evaluation of bids, raw material projects and suppliers
- Analysis of battery raw material markets and their price mechanisms
- Evaluation of trends and forecasts with regard to raw material price and volume development
- Screening, identification and contacting potential suppliers
- Independent conduct of strategic exploratory talks and negotiations
- Completed university degree and/or doctorate in mining, metallurgy, chemistry or another raw material-related field
- Relevant professional experience in the chemical industry or in a raw material producing company
- Sound knowledge in at least one specialist area of the raw materials value chain
- Fluent in English

- Flexible working hours from 28 to 40h per week
