Who We Are

The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. In this, the tasks and requirements of operations are varied. Operations takes care of all production related activities within the battery cell production. Our responsibilities vary from planning, constructing and rolling out the forthcoming battery cell factories. Furthermore, planning and implementing operating functions such as logistics, quality, production and plant management is also key elements within the area of operations.

Your Role And Key Responsibilities

  • Cross functional aligning in between local and global process team of PowerCo in regards of trouble-shoot failures and integration of lessons learned into upcoming production lines
  • Cross functional planning of process enginering ressources for commissioning and SAT (site acceptance test) of production lines
  • Establishing a global benchmarking in regards of processes of electrode and/or cell assembly and/or F&A
  • Cross process issue handling onsite with 6 sigma approach for several upcoming production defects

What You Bring To The Team

  • 3+ years’ experience of production or process engineering of lithium-ion cells in mass production scale, in electrode and/or cell assembly and/or F&A
  • Strong hands-on experience of international projects resulting into intercultural competence
  • Strong hands-on experience in measurement and characterization techniques of electrode and/or cell assembly and/or F&A area
  • Domestic and international travel readiness
  • Fluent English for technical and business communications

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Knowledge of battery cell production processes and related equipment
  • Proficiency in German and/or Chinese is a plus
  • Very good communication and assertiveness skills
