What You Will Do
- Support business engagements between CARIADs Product Teams/Solution Trains and Tech/Industry partner that supply core software technologies
- Develope and execute market analysis and strategic supplier development for car software
- Define mid-/ long-term supply and supplier strategies for car software and align these strategies on VW group level
- Search, evaluate and recommend software innovations and start-ups
- Get involved in RFQs for software (including price and contract negotiations)
- Collaborate in cross-functional project teams - from the very start of the project till SOP
- Ensure compliance to company guidelines, purchasing policies and procedures during supplier negotiations
- Enrolled student in business administration, economics, informatics or in the engineering area
- Analytical and numerical mind with strong demonstrated problem solving abilities
- Good communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
- Fluent in English, German language skills are optional
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle stressful situations
- Above-average commitment and flexibility
