What You’ll Do
You’ll be the go-to person for a wide range of support tasks. Your day-to-day may include:
- Administrative support: Scheduling meetings, preparing documents, handling correspondence
- Travel planning: Booking flights, hotels, itineraries for our local and international teams
- Stock & order management: Keep track of demo systems, accessories, spare parts and office supplies
- Event support: Organize team meetings, company events, and customer visits
- Sales & marketing assistance: Help organize campaigns, support CRM tasks, follow up on leads
- Customs & Logistics: Coordinate incoming/outgoing shipments (domestic and international), handle documentation for customs clearance, freight forwarders, and delivery tracking
- Executive Assistance: Provide high-level support to the Managing Director, including calendar management, correspondence, and task coordination
- Communication: Act as a liaison between our German and Chinese teams (Chinese language a big plus!)
- Organized and solution-oriented, with a “nothing too small” mindset
- Comfortable juggling multiple responsibilities and shifting priorities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable with MS Office 365 and digital tools
- Fluent in English, German is a strong plus, and Chinese (Mandarin) is a big bonus
- You bring a hands-on, startup-friendly attitude and are willing to grow into new responsibilities
- Experience in a startup or fast-paced office environment
- Familiarity with CRM systems or event planning
- Background in biology, life sciences, or microscopy is a strong advantage
