Junior Ship Electrotechnical Officers (m/f/d)

TT-Line the leading ferry company in the Southern Baltic Sea, using state of the art ferries between Germany, Poland, Lithuania and Sweden. TT-Line carries over 900,000 passengers and more than 500,000 freight units annually on its 4 routes, making it the market leader in southern Sweden traffic. TT-Line currently employs around 700 people on board and in its offices in Travemünde, Trelleborg, Świnoujście / Szczecin, Rostock and Klaipeda.

We are seeking motivated and responsible Junior Electrotechnical Officers (ETOs). This position is ideal for individuals who have recently completed their studies or are newly graduated, with a strong interest in starting their career at sea.

As a Junior ETO, your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with maintenance tasks under the guidance of senior engineering staff.
• Gaining familiarity with the vessel’s Planned Maintenance System and operational procedures.
• Supporting emergency preparedness tasks as part of the ship’s emergency organization.
• Reporting any incidents, hazards, or deficiencies to the Chief Engineer..
  
  

Requirements:

• Relevant educational background in electrotechnical systems.
• Understanding of maritime operations and safety standards (STCW certificates are a must).
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• A strong willingness to learn, grow, and adapt to the demands of ferry operations and guest services
  
  

Employment Details:

• Schedule: 2 weeks on/2weeks off
