We are looking for a “Development Engineer FPGA (f/m/d)” for the “Software and FPGA FW Engineering” department at the Ulm site as soon as possible.
The “Software and FPGA FW Engineering” department develops FPGA firmware for use in military systems, among other things. The spectrum ranges from the development of standard interfaces to the implementation of complex algorithms in our company's radar, EW and avionics products.

Summary
We are looking for a “Development Engineer FPGA (f/m/d)” for the “Software and FPGA FW Engineering” department at the Ulm site as soon as possible.

Your Tasks
- Conception and implementation of complex FPGA designs especially for electronic warfare applications
- Optimization and implementation of signal processing algorithms in VHDL and C
- Verification of the design and functional tests in simulation and on the hardware
- Testing and commissioning the functions on the target hardware
- Collaboration in system integration, verification and qualification
- Creation of design, requirements and verification documentation
- Completed studies in electrical engineering or communications engineering or comparable
- Professional experience in the design and development of FPGAs
- Experience in using FPGA manufacturer tools (preferably AMD/XILINX)
- Experience with Siemens EDA (formerly MENTOR Graphics) tools such as HDL Designer, QuestaSim
- Experience with high-level synthesis and relevant tools such as Vivado HLS
- Very good knowledge of VHDL and FPGA architecture as well as digital circuit technology
- Conscientiousness and ability to work in a team
- Fluent German and good English skills
