The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. In this, the tasks and requirements of the Product Management are varied. The unit is responsible for all activities relating to the development and industrialization of battery cells. Responsibilities range from the preparation of technology roadmaps and portfolio planning to volume and cycleplan planning and the holistic program management for global battery projects.
Your role and key responsibilities

Responsibilities range from the preparation of technology roadmaps and portfolio planning to volume and cycleplan planning and the holistic program management for global battery projects.
Your role and key responsibilities
- Leading the sample phase and maintaining, updating and optimizing the portfolio from nomination to End Of Service (EOS)
- Controlling and steering all (PowerCo internal or customer requested) changes of the portfolio
- Aligning all changes in a multi-project view (optimization of products and processes in the series across all platforms, projects/cells and plants)
- Managing and maintaining all mutual data and information, based on a close collaboration with Change Management and Sales Management
- Leading internal feasibility studies of new products or new requirement requests
- Preparing and reporting the feasibility assessment results to management for decision-making
- Completed technical/university studies, or a comparable qualification
- Professional experience in the field of automotive project / program / portfolio management
- Deep understanding of Li-Ion cell and battery design and process
- Experience in Li-Ion enginnering
- Fluent in English
- Intercultural competence and willingness to travel
- Confident appearance and high degree of initiative
- Above-average ability to work in a team
- Network within the Volkswagen Group
- Flexible working hours from 28 to 40h per week
- Possibility of a 4-day-week (up to 35h per week)
