- Responsible for customer satisfaction, business development and sales of CENTOGENE’s services & solutions in Romania
- Autonomous planning and implementation of sales activities and customer acquisition
- Active management of existing and potential partners/resellers
- Managing relationships with key opinion leaders in the diagnostics of rare hereditary disorders
- Identify opportunities and implement an action plan to drive and accelerate sample and revenue growth
- Customer relationship management via SalesForce CRM
- Collection of market intelligence and competitive information
- Planning of Marketing & Sales strategies for your region
- Representing CENTOGENE at conferences and target group gatherings
- Budgetary planning of revenue and local pricing, continual evaluation of results
- Directly reporting to and coordinating with General Manager Europe
- A university degree in biological sciences or the equivalent thereof (further background in genetics, biology, laboratory medicine, medical technology)
- Professional experience in the field of biotechnology and field sales (molecular diagnostics, medical laboratory diagnostics and/or pharmaceutical market) selling complex products
- Profound understanding of methods in the field of modern human genetics, rare hereditary diseases and NGS offering
- Experience in managing regional distribution partners
- Native Romanian and excellent English language skills are essential
- Strong communication skills and negotiating ability
- Demonstrated organizational skills and experience in handling complex accounts
- The means to work independently, oriented towards performance and results
- An interest in selling products that are novel and making a difference for patients and their families
- Passionate about selling, partnering and networking with customers and distributors
- A solid grasp of scientific and medical concepts and procedures
- Willingness to travel within the territory or internationally
