Your mission
cylib is a research-based German scaleup for holistic battery recycling - starting from discharging to recovery of all components of the lithium battery - that was founded in Aachen in 2022 by three visionary founders, including a female CEO.
Our process
The cylib process offers a complete end-to-end process from battery pack to green battery material by employing a combination of mechanical and thermal pre-treatments and an innovative water-based lithium and graphite recovery. Unlike incumbents, cylib can therefore recover battery materials such as lithium, graphite or manganese. The process was developed over several years of research at the renown RWTH Aachen University and offers an efficient, resource- and climate friendly recovery of all battery materials from end-of-life batteries.
cylib's technology enables the recovery of all battery components regardless of whether it is an end-of-life battery or not. Recovery of green secondary raw materials from the cylib process enables the realization of the true Circular Economy on the European market.

- In this role, you are the interface between production, purchasing, waste disposal and transport companies as well as authorities and are responsible for both operational and strategic topics.
- You will be responsible for setting up the entire logistics processes.
- In this context, you will coordinate (inter)national transport in compliance with applicable dangerous goods and waste regulations and professionally handle import and export processes (including customs formalities).
- Operationally, you will control and monitor the daily incoming and outgoing goods (raw materials, waste, products).
- You will also be responsible for selecting, managing and evaluating external logistics service providers.
- You will develop sustainable and efficient supply chain strategies for recycled materials and hazardous goods.
- In the longer term, you will be involved in the logistics design of future locations and international supply chains.
- You will also support the Logistics division in the implementation and further development of S/4HANA.
- You have a degree in logistics, industrial engineering, chemical engineering or a comparable qualification.
- You have several years of professional experience in operational and strategic logistics - ideally in the chemical, waste disposal or recycling industry.
- You also have proven experience in international hazardous goods and waste logistics.
- You have sound knowledge of customs law and foreign trade regulations.
- You are interested in setting up new processes and structures and are characterized by a high degree of personal responsibility and creative drive.
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills round off your profile.
