What You Can Expect
- Shaping digital infrastructure: As an IT System Engineer (m/f/d), you will be responsible for proactively ensuring system availability as well as planning and implementing relevant updates. You will also reliably eliminate faults in the operation of our IIoT products and data infrastructure. You will design hybrid cloud environments and manage productive data pipelines in a combined cloud and on-premise architecture.
- Ensuring smooth IT operations: Your varied tasks will include network management (e.g. VPN, IPSEC, VLAN) and IT security issues such as user authentication and the use of firewalls. You will also orchestrate containerized services, manage our IaaS and SaaS environments and ensure smooth and secure operation – even in complex system landscapes.
- Rethinking technology: With your technological vision, you will evaluate and integrate new cloud services and infrastructure solutions. As an IT System Engineer (m/f/d), you will also use artificial intelligence in a targeted manner to make processes in system administration and operations more efficient. In doing so, you will actively drive the technological change at Wölfel and thus shape the future of our digital infrastructure.
- Education: You have successfully completed your professional training or your Bachelor's/Master's degree in computer science or software engineering.
- Experience and knowledge: As an IT Systems Engineer (m/f/d), you have sound knowledge of Python, Git, Docker and Linux. First experience in C++, AI-supported software development and network technologies is an advantage.
- Personal strengths: You are characterized by your strong personal initiative, a strong team spirit and a reliable and solution-oriented way of working. With your creativity and wealth of ideas, you contribute significantly to the development of new concepts and enrich our team with innovative approaches. Business fluent German and English round off your profile.
