We are currently seeking a Quality Control Coordinator to become part of the Ulbrich Europe Metals team located in Remscheid, Germany. Ulbrich Europe Metals is a dedicated metal service center catering to the European market. Specializing in the distribution of high-performance nickel alloys, stainless steels, and special metals, this 60,000-square-foot facility is equipped to handle the needs of manufacturers across various industries throughout Europe.

We’re seeking Quality Control Coordinator to serve as the Quality representative for Ulbrich Europe Metals. Assists with the monitoring of Company performance against established objectives, ensures adherence to Quality policies, investigates/evaluates data and recommends process improvements within the guidelines of the Quality Management System (QMS).

Responsibilities Include

Quality

  • Coordinates Management Review proceedings and monitor action items;
  • Assists with the monitoring and communication of divisional goals & objectives;
  • Facilitate corrective action requests in accordance to Quality System requirements;
  • Document and maintain claim and other Quality Control files and provide detailed information regarding status during weekly meetings;
  • Gather information to assist with the investigation and resolution of customer claims/complaints;
  • Review and approve Quality related documentation as designated representative of Quality Department.
  • Coordinate and perform departmental internal audits per ISO-9001 and AS-9100 standards;
  • Perform internal process and document audits per the internal QMS and industry standards;
  • Act as liaison for customer communication as it relates to quality-related issues;
  • Maintain calibration schedule and records for equipment;
  • Assist with resolving quality concerns as is relates to materials and/or documentation;
  • Maintain all QMS documentation; and
  • Maintain library of appropriate industry specifications.
  • An Associate’s degree preferred plus a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a related Quality system;
  • Strong administrative and communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively on cross functional initiatives;
  • Strong analytical skills;
  • Customer Service experience is a plus;
  • Proficiency with various office computer software programs (MS Office);
  • Prior experience with data collection and demonstrated ability to compile/summarize information effectively;
  • Attention to detail;
  • Strong problem solving skills;
  • Maintains confidentiality to sensitive material; and
  • Regular attendance is an essential requirement for this position.
