Your tasks

The BI (Business Intelligence) Domain Lead (m/f/d) leads the BI strategy, manages a team of BI professionals, and drives the use of analytics to support strategic decision-making. Responsibilities include defining the BI roadmap, ensuring data accuracy, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize business performance through data-driven initiatives.

• Operational Management: Management of BI project operations within the domain, including requirements gathering, implementation, and maintenance, with assurance of timely delivery of analytics solutions in alignment with stakeholder expectations
• Data Governance: Enforcement of data quality, security, and governance standards throughout the domain, in collaboration with data stewards and IT teams, to ensure data integrity and accessibility
• Collaboration and Coordination: Liaison function between business stakeholders and technical teams for the translation of business needs into BI solutions, and promotion of cross-functional collaboration for data-driven decision-making
• Mentorship and Guidance: Leadership and mentorship of a team comprising BI analysts, data engineers, and other professionals, with promotion of a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team
  
  

Your profile

• University degree in Economics, Business Intelligence or similar
• Basis knowledge of data & analytics processes in a complex corporate set-up
• Experience with international and cross functional projects; complex project and product management skills
• Good understanding of market trends and innovations in the area S&S
• Practical experience with BI and data analytics tools like Microsoft PowerBI, Google Looker is a benefit
• Understanding of BI & Data Analytics Strategies & Operations
• Analytical skills, commercial understanding, customer- and outcome-oriented
• German and English fluent
• Adaptability / Flexibility / Learner Mindset / Perseverance & Performance Orientation / Teamwork / Effective Communication
