Application Engineer BD Electronics, Secop Germany

Your Tasks

• Support customers to select the right Secop compressor and controller and maximize utilization of the integrated functions, support the successful integration in customer products
• Support customers during integration of LIN and Modbus interfaces in hardware and software
• Train customers in refrigeration best practices, battery- and solar-powered electronic compressors
• Understand and describe customer requirements according ASPICE standard to define new products
• Be voice of the customer in the resulting projects, keep customers aligned with project progress and ensure the technical fit of the product in the customers appliance
• Drive the introduction of new products and ensure the successful integration in the customer appliance
• Overlook and take care of the products lifecycle, including new product introduction, change notifications and end-of-life announcements
• Create and update datasheets, technical literature and customer documentation in cooperation with R&D and marketing
• Close cooperation with the key account managers to support sales remote and on site
• Build and maintain the customer relationship
• Support R&D with testing and verification of new products on customer application level
  
  

Your Qualifications

• University degree in Electronics or comparable hands-on education in electronics
• Experience within technical work in the industry and electronic systems
• Broad understanding of key electrical parameters such as EMI, leakage current, control algorithms and automotive communication standards
• Technical knowledge in electronic integration
• Bonus: Experience in the automotive industry / IATF 16949
• Bonus: Knowledge in refrigeration or air conditioning
• Bonus: Experience in project management
• Bonus: Customer handling experience
