Your work will ensure continuous data flow between platforms used across various industries, enabling efficiency and innovation. The solution you design will support seamless exchange of complex data formats where accuracy and efficiency are paramount. Your focus will be on building an automated system that makes traditionally incompatible workflows effortless-transcending the limitations of existing systems and tools. This project will directly impact how design, engineering, and manufacturing teams interact with digital models, shaping the future of automotive design and advanced manufacturing.

Job Purpose/Role

  • You develop a high-performance, scalable solution that facilitates data translation between specialized tools in a non-disruptive, intuitive manner
  • You implement methods for smooth data transitions across various digital environments-considering complex data structures, not just files
  • You write maintainable code that operates across multiple domains and technologies, ensuring performance and data integrity
  • You continuously improve system accuracy, speed and reliability by collaborating closely with cross-functional teams
  • You iterate quickly, designing proofs of concept that evolve into real-world applications
  • You work on-site with Audi’s Interior Design team to develop a custom tool tailored to their needs, streamlining and enhancing the design process through seamless digital asset integration

    Key Requirements/Skills/Experience

  • You are currently in a study program
  • You are experienced in high-level programming, preferably with a focus on data processing, 3D systems, or automated workflows
  • You have intermediate proficiency in Python, C++, and JavaScript is highly valuable
  • You show a strong ability to architect solutions for complex technical challenges and learn quickly without predefined solutions
  • You are familiar with a range of software tools used in design, engineering, and gaming. Bonus points for experience with APIs and scripting in environments like Blender, Alias, VRED, Unreal Engine, Rhino, ICEM, or Catia
  • You are comfortable navigating different industries, software, and methodologies, and translating this into working products that meet business needs
  • You are ready to break the mold and adapt existing tools to evolving project needs, contributing both creative ideas and pragmatic solutions that push boundaries while maintaining efficiency
  • You have the ability to deliver results in a high-pressure design environment by writing maintainable, efficient, and scalable code

    This position is available at AUDI AG in Ingolstadt.

    Generally all positions can be worked part time.
