Your Tasks

• Installation, configuration and maintenance of complex IT systems, networks and software
• Ensuring functionality by initiating relevant measures in good time, e.g. updates, backups and technical support
• Administration of servers and applications through the use of security regulations including access authorizations
• Error analysis including troubleshooting in the event of hardware and software faults
• Protecting systems against attacks by developing security guidelines
• Analysis of requirements and advice on the selection and procurement of hardware and software
• Instruction and training of users
• Other IT tasks that arise
  
  

Your Profile

• Completed vocational training as an IT specialist (m/f/d) for system administration or a comparable qualification
• very good knowledge and experience of server/client virtualization, NAS/SAN infrastructure, TCP/IP, routing, virtual networks, VPN and firewall systems
• Good knowledge and experience of Windows Server product family, Linux, MS SQL Server 2016
• 2019, MySQL, MariaDB, MS Exchange, MECM, Windows/Linux/database scripting
• Ability to quickly familiarize yourself with an existing project
• Commitment, motivation and ability to work in a team
• Confident handling of Windows servers and client operating systems
• Good written and spoken German and English skills
• An independent, solution-oriented and structured way of working rounds off your profile
• Knowledge of Linux is an advantage
• Experience in user help desk / support
