In the role of Service Marketing Leader, International (m/w/d) (Maternity leave replacement) you will be a member of the Global Service Growth & Marketing team, who will work across all BUs and Functions with the focus on the International & China market, to help identify service business growth opportunities and capitalize on them

Collaborate with service commercial & growth leaders to create a Service portfolio of Service Contracts, Value added Services and other OEM Solutions to drive revenue growth for the Service business.

What will you be doing?

  • Collaboration - establish a broad set of relationships across Smith & Nephew and with the service, sales and marketing teams in particular, to support the new organization.
  • Service Portfolio – collaborate with stakeholders across franchises at to help build a portfolio of Service offerings
  • Create/acccelerate new tiered service offerings at different price points and build a value proposition for the same.
  • Track Contract capture rates and other KPIs/dashboards for Service across key business units and put strategies in place to increase these rates.
  • Identify new value-added service offerings like OEM solution, EMR/PACS integration service etc. to add to the service portfolio to drive revenue growth.
  • Analyze service pricing across various segments and drive necessary action to correct these where required.


Support the development of sales and marketing plans for the Service business.

  • Development of customer insights and industry benchmarking to ensure competitive service offering.
  • Business planning & forecasting – collaborate with Finance and other counterparts to deliver commercially focused plans and set appropriate performance targets, backed up with action plans.
  • Build processes within the Salesforce ecosystem to enable service commercial management


What will you need to be successful?

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree, master’s preferred
  • Experience: 5-10-year work experience in Medical Devices or Technology industry in Sales, Marketing or Operations roles, experience in Service strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to utilize data for effective decision making
  • Experience in using SAP, Salesforce.com and/or other ERP/CRM platforms preferred.
  • Strong communication and consensus-building skills
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change and establish new processes & procedures.
  • Experience in digital marketing is highly desired
  • Travel Requirements: Up to 20%
