Who are we?

We, INTOCAST AG, are a company founded in 1979 that manufactures and markets products for the refractory industry worldwide. With our team, which currently consists of around 280 employees throughout Germany, we offer our customers a comprehensive range of products that are used exactly where it gets hot. Our subsidiaries are also active in the refractory industry and thus complement our product portfolio.

What do we do?

We manufacture shaped and unshaped refractory products, casting aids and metallurgical slag additives. In addition, we support our customers in the processes of melting, alloying, burning and hot forming, which requires a wide range of research and product development. We also make this available to our customers.

As an IT Business Administrator (m/f/d) you will enjoy the following tasks:

• You enjoy checking and maintaining the data protection concept
• You develop and maintain disaster recovery plans
• You are responsible for the development and maintenance of IT documentation (system configurations, processes, network topologies)
• You communicate with insurance companies and external service providers (e.g. mobile communications, internet)
• You enjoy supporting your colleagues in 1st or 2nd level support

• You have successfully completed a degree in computer science, business informatics or comparable training in the (commercial) IT sector
• You have very good knowledge of Microsoft (Office) 365You are adept at creating and maintaining IT documentation (system configurations, processes, network topologies)
• You have a very good command of written and spoken German and English
• You have a class B driving license and are willing to take business trips in between
• You work independently, have analytical thinking skills and the ability to familiarize yourself with complex contexts and document them
• You are communicative, open and like to contribute new ideas
• You keep a cool head in stressful situations and support your colleagues where you can
