As an Optomechatronics Specialist (m/f/d) in the Lighting Business Group, you will be responsible for the assembly and connection technologies for complex optomechatronic products with a focus on soldering, contact and electrical process technologies.

YOUR TASKS
As an Optomechatronics Specialist (m/f/d) in the Lighting Business Group, you will be responsible for the assembly and connection technologies for complex optomechatronic products with a focus on soldering, contact and electrical process technologies.
- You will accompany the introduction of new or existing process and manufacturing technologies in cooperation with series production
- You will advise product development with regard to application-oriented material and process selection as well as its product design
- You will be responsible for the planning and implementation of product, manufacturing and packaging technology qualifications as well as the assessment of failure mechanisms and the implementation of necessary investigations
- In addition to the technical support of external suppliers, you will accompany the creation of requirement specifications
- In close cooperation with the other specialist departments, you will be the contact person for packaging and connection technology and carry out training courses for employees
- In contact with customers, suppliers and internal project teams, you will work internationally and interdisciplinarily
- Completed technical studies (e.g. electrical engineering, microsystems technology, mechanical engineering) and at least 3 years of professional experience desirable
- Several years of professional experience desirable
- Knowledge of packaging and connection technology, ideally SMT production
- Experience with soldering technologies, desirable in the field of contacting technologies
- Initial experience in project management, reliability analyses and service life studies
- Basic knowledge of product development and quality management (automotive industry is an advantage)
- Independent, methodical way of working and strong communication skills
- Fluent in English, willingness to travel and mobility
