Senior IT Project Manager (Financial Services) – Remote within Germany

Location: Remote-first (within Germany)

Travel: Project-based (max. 3 days/week, no Mon–Fri travel)

Language Requirements: German (C1+), English (B2+)

Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time or Part-time (30–32h/week optional)

Salary: €60,000 – €120,000 gross/year + uncapped bonus (up to :€200k possible)

Vacation: 30 days

Start Date: As soon as possible

Your Role

As a Senior IT Project Manager, you’ll:

• Lead and deliver mid- to large-scale IT projects in the financial services sector (banking/insurance)
• Interface between technical and business stakeholders
• Manage client communication, project planning, and execution
• Apply both classic and agile project management methodologies
• Support business analysis, conceptual design, and presentations
• Optionally contribute to client acquisition and offer structuring
• Serve as a trusted advisor to the client throughout the project lifecycle
  
  
  

What You Bring

6+ years of project management experience in consulting

Deep understanding of financial services processes and systems

Expertise in classic/agile PM, moderation, and business analysis

Track record managing large-scale IT projects

Strong interpersonal, communication, and empathy skills

A pragmatic mindset with the ability to simplify complexity

University degree (interdisciplinary fields welcome)

Comfortable with travel when needed and remote collaboration

Driver’s license
