What you can expect in your new job

  • You will be responsible for the careful and timely preparation of the financial statements of individual companies in the Dataciders Group in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB), always with an eye for detail and ensuring maximum precision.
  • You take responsibility for the correct booking and reconciliation of all business transactions. Your diligent work ensures that every account is managed correctly and transparently.
  • You take care of the accurate recording of incoming and outgoing invoices, bank postings and transactions, always with the aim of ensuring seamless and traceable accounting.
  • You will be responsible for preparing VAT, corporation tax and trade tax returns and work closely with external tax advisors to secure tax benefits and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
  • With your experience and your eye for detail, you identify opportunities for improvement and implement optimizations that lead to more efficient and transparent financial processing.
  • You ensure that internal control systems are not only adhered to, but are continuously developed.
  • You will work closely with the Controlling team and other departments in the Group, helping to optimize the company's financial prospects in all areas.
  • You are the contact person for auditors, tax consultants and banks and ensure that external relationships are managed just as professionally and transparently as internal processes.

What we want from you

  • Completed commercial training with further training/experience as an accountant or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in accounting, ideally in the area of financial accounting and preparation of financial statements
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Business Central/Navision or a comparable ERP system
  • Sound knowledge in the field of financial accounting, in particular in accounts receivable and accounts payable as well as in the preparation of monthly financial statements
  • Confident handling of MS Office, especially Excel
  • A structured, precise and independent way of working as well as a strong understanding of numbers
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a solution-oriented manner even in challenging situations
  • Very good written and spoken German, knowledge of English is an advantage
