About The Role

As a Software Engineer (f/m/d), a variety of opportunities are available to you at GROPYUS. We build cross-collaborative and diverse teams that focus on products and are not tethered by ancient legacy systems or reporting structures. With us, you can build:

• Building configurators - to guide the architects in designing production-compatible solutions,
• Building system management tools - to assist the iterative process of building system design and evolution,
• Parametric algorithms - to automate the generation of rule-based buildings or building parts.

What you will be doing

• Deliver Complex Tasks Independently: Handle technical work with minimal guidance, adapt quickly to changing priorities, and understand system-wide impacts.
• Technical & Domain Expertise: Troubleshoot across services, understand integrations, and collaborate on solutions that align with business goals while keeping in mind technical risks.
• Collaborate & Guide: Work closely with Product Managers to shape and prioritize work, and support junior engineers through mentorship and onboarding.
• Ensure Quality & Scalable Design: Write high-quality, testable code using best practices, implement monitoring, and apply appropriate design and architectural patterns.
  
  

About You

• You have experience designing and building as well as running and maintaining software, as a full stack developer
• You have professional experience in modern design patterns
• You are experienced and/or desire to test pair and/or mob programming
• You have experience with Kotlin, React, PostgreSQL and Cloud Operations (Azure, GCP, AWS, or similar)
• A plus if you bring experience in designing and operating highly available systems
• A plus if you participate in team strategy, roadmap definition, and sprint planning
