Your tasks

• You advise, support and train our customers in the introduction of DevOps processes, tools and methods in the cloud environment
• You support and advise our customers on setting up and operating complex CI/CD pipelines in cloud environments
• You develop Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) with automation tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, etc.
• In line with our guiding principle "Knowledge is multiplied by sharing it", you will pass on your expertise to others - both to your colleagues and our students as well as in projects with customers. You can also share your knowledge in our ORDIX blog ( https://blog.ordix.de /), as a speaker in our seminars or at specialist conferences - depending on your strengths.
  
  

Your profile

• Practical experience as a DevOps Engineer in a professional environment
• Experience in building and operating complex CI/CD pipelines in cloud infrastructures
• Experience with container technologies and orchestration services (Docker/Kubernetes etc.), preferably in cloud environments
• Experience with the development of Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Enthusiasm for cloud technologies and current trends in the cloud environment
• Willingness for continuous further training
• Good (technical) university degree in computer science or comparable completed training desirable
• Programming experience in a current language (e.g. Python) advantageous
• Certifications from major public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) advantageous
• You are strong in communication and also in presentation
• You have a perfect command of written and spoken German and a good command of English

• GitLab, GitHub, Azure DevOps, AWS CodeCommit/CodeDeploy, GCP Cloud Build, Jenkins, Nexus, Harbor
• Automation / Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Ansible/Puppet)
• Operating processes according to ITIL and also agile
  
  

Typical project activities

• Setup and operation of CI/CD pipelines in cloud environments
• Scripting and coding for the automation and development of IaC (e.g. with Terraform or Python)
• Consulting and support for the introduction of DevOps processes, tools and methods
