Your Responsibilities

As our Product Owner, you will be responsible for managing the Product Backlogs and ensuring that the development team has a clear understanding of the product vision and goals. You will work closely with the development team, scrum master, sales, customers and other stakeholders to identify and prioritize features based on customer needs and business value.

In your product owner role at Siempelkamp, your responsibilities and tasks will include:

• Establishing a clear product vision and strategic goals
• Work in interdisciplinary teams
• Structured recording of feedback and user requirements
• Defining and prioritizing backlog items and product features, ensuring they align with the product vision and goals
• Create and maintain epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, as well as processes and workflows to support the development team and improve the product development process
• Participate in regular Scrum meetings, sprint planning and sprint reviews with the product development team
• Ensure team members have a clear understanding of the product vision, expected outcomes, goals of each initiative, and new product release timelines and milestones
• Main contact for the development team, sales and other stakeholders regarding product-related matters
• Stakeholder management
  
  

Your Profile

• At least 3 years of experience working with interdisciplinary teams, stakeholders and customers
  
  

Desirable:

• Experience with agile methodology as part of a Scrum team
• Experience with product management tools (e.g. JIRA, Asana)
• Experience in creating, optimizing and successfully managing product roadmaps
• Knowledge of product design and software development processes, as well as best practices
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a suitable field, e.g. computer science, business administration, project management, etc.
• Fluent in German, English
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Detail oriented and able to set priorities
• Impeccable project management skills
